The idyllic New England town of Merrimack, New Hampshire is made up of four villages; Merrimack Village, Thorntons Ferry, Reeds Ferry, and South Merrimack. Home to Thomas More College of Liberal Arts, the small Catholic college named after Saint Thomas More, maintains a top rating from American Council of Trustees and Alumni. Additionally, In 2012 the Merrimack Premium Outlets were proudly unveiled to the public, which house approximately 100 brand name and designer outlet stores.

Merrimack is also home to one of the few Anheuser Busch locations in the United States. Believe it or not, the Merrimack Budweiser Brewery is an attraction recommended for the whole family. The tour is geared to be educational, so it is suitable for all ages, including little kids. The grounds of the brewery are absolutely gorgeous and contain several sports fields as well. The horse stables are easily the most beloved spot on campus, though. Guests are welcome to visit the large majestic Clydesdales and learn about their world-famous Budweiser Clydesdale East Coast Team.

King Kone is another community staple for anyone looking for that perfect summer spot to cool down. This famed establishment has been scooping ice cream in Merrimack since 1972 and quickly became known as “New Hampshire’s Best Soft Serve.”


The Merrimack Real Estate Market

Let’s take a look at how the Merrimack real estate market is developing so far this year. Single-Family home sale prices in Merrimack have increased by 6% from the same time period in 2018, with active inventory decreasing by 14%. Additionally, the total number of home sales have also decreased by 24%.

The Merrimack condo market has seen prices increase by 3% compared to 2018. With home sales decreasing by 25% and active inventory remaining steady at 151 active condos, compared to 150 in 2018.

Merrimack is an ideally located Southern NH town that has seen it’s home prices consistently rising year over year.
